The meteoric rise of generative artificial intelligence has not yet been sufficient to dislodge the consolidated pillars of digital information consumption in Brazil. In the sensitive domain of personal finance, YouTube maintains its hegemony as the primary compass for investors, surpassing AI tools that promise personalized analyses in seconds.

This preference for video format reflects a persistent demand for human curation and authority. While large language models offer processed data, content creators deliver narratives and contexts that resonate with the reality of the average investor. There is a perception that AI, though efficient in processing vast volumes of data, still lacks the empathy and pedagogical clarity found in specialized channels.

Nevertheless, the landscape indicates a gradual transition. Artificial intelligence is beginning to assume a significant technical support role, employed for data screening and the automation of financial routines. The challenge for technology platforms now is to transcend the barrier of algorithmic impersonality to become, in effect, consultative agents as intuitive as an explanatory video.
