Carhartt WIP’s second delivery for Spring/Summer 2026 arrives as a meditation on the durability of form. Set against the shifting light of Lisbon in a campaign lensed by Eduardo Gonçalves, the collection marks a deliberate pivot from the brand’s rigid workwear origins toward a more fluid, atmospheric utility. It is an exercise in balancing the weight of history with the lightness required for a warming climate.

At the center of the release is a rigorous engagement with mid-century design. The Belmar Jacket and accompanying raw denim pieces serve as archival anchors, featuring 1950s-era details like stitched pleats, rear buckles, and donut shank buttons. These structured, hickory-striped garments are not merely recreations; they are recontextualized through a modern lens, positioned alongside ultra-soft jersey essentials that have been overdyed in muted shades of purple, blue, and green.

This juxtaposition of the rugged and the tactile is further punctuated by a new "camo snake" pattern, laser-printed to provide a subtle, organic texture to the more traditional silhouettes. By blending the industrial geometry of the mid-century with the relaxed ergonomics of contemporary streetwear, Carhartt WIP continues to refine its thesis on how functional clothing can evolve without losing its sense of permanence.
