Swedish freight technology firm Einride is expanding into the defense sector, aiming to adapt its autonomous driving systems for military vehicles. The move signals a strategic shift for the company as it seeks to apply its commercial self-driving expertise to defense logistics and operations.
To support this transition, Einride has appointed Keith B. Alexander to its board of directors. Alexander is the former director of the U.S. National Security Agency. The appointment brings high-level intelligence and defense experience to the company’s leadership.
