The campaign group Don’t Waste Buildings has called on the Treasury to prioritize retrofitting and adaptive reuse as a means of stimulating economic growth. In a report launched this week, the group argues that the government is currently missing out on significant economic opportunities by failing to provide adequate incentives for the refurbishment of existing structures.
